Malaysia-Europe Forum (MEF) is a not-for-profit organisation established in the year 2006 and scheduled to launch this year, to foster and promote meaningful dialogue and relationships amongst and between various key stakeholders from Malaysia and Europe.
The Malaysia-Europe Forum (MEF) aims to promote Malaysia in Europe and vice versa through an exchange of views, furthering of mutual interests and enhancement of links between and among European and Malaysian business leaders, professionals, scientists, academics and humanitarians at a non-governmental level.
One of the main aims of this not-for-profit organisation which is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, with a branch secretariat in London, is to facilitate business and professional networking opportunities between Malaysia and Europe. Principally, there will be a triangle of opportunity presented by the centres of Kuala Lumpur, London and Brussels, for exchange and dialogue.
Institutionalization of high-level conferences, symposia and networking events will be instrumental to achieve goals set by MEF, whose long-term success will depend on its partners coming forward with ideas that command a conference and dialogue audience.
We therefore encourage and invite smart partnerships to further the interests and objectives of this institution.
MEF also aims to create ideas and innovations by inviting a distinguished and selected group of lively and creative people from Malaysia, Europe and its surrounding ASEAN neighbours, with good access to high-level and key international individuals and networks to participate in translating our common mission into action.
